Goated review overview

Goated is a crypto casino and sportsbook that opened in June 2024, and for a fairness-first reader it does something many rivals skip: it publishes the actual code that turns seeds into results for each of its house games. This Goated review starts there, then looks at the Anjouan licence, the crypto cashier and the bonus rules. The short verdict is positive on transparency and mixed on terms.

No bet-level audit or payout test from our side has been logged at Goated yet. What follows describes Goated's published scheme and its own stated figures, and the scores stay empty until the owner's tests are recorded.

How Goated's provably fair system works

Goated's fairness overview names three inputs: a server seed generated by Goated, a client seed set by your device, and a nonce that counts up with every bet. The server seed is shown only as a hash while it is in use. That hash is the commitment: Goated cannot swap the seed later without the hash failing to match.

The implementation page goes further than most. Its shared functions compute HMAC-SHA256 with the server seed as the key and the string client_seed:nonce:cursor as the message. Each 32-byte output is cut into four-byte chunks, and each chunk becomes a float between 0 and 1. When a game needs more than eight floats, the cursor increments and a new HMAC is computed. Anyone who has checked Stake-style originals will recognise the structure, and that matters: generic verifiers work without custom code for most games.

Three practical details answer the usual audit questions:

• Where seeds are shown. The seed history page lists each seed pair with its rotation date.
• Can the client seed be changed? Yes. You rotate the pair yourself, and the old server seed is then revealed in full.
• Is the nonce visible? Yes, it is part of each bet's details and is required on the verify page.

Crash works differently, because a single round is shared by everyone in it. Goated generates a chain of hashes from a terminal seed. Hashing one round's seed gives the previous round's seed, so the whole history can be walked back and checked against the committed end of the chain.

Which Goated games can be verified?

The implementation page publishes code for Dice, Plinko, Keno, Order Up, Wheel, Diamonds, Roulette, Limbo, Tower, Mines, Goat Run, G3 Cards, Crash, Punch and Coinflip, and the FAQ adds Blackjack and HiLo to the provably fair list. Two notes from reading the code:

• Dice has two versions. At a 1% edge the roll is floor(float x 10001) / 100, which matches the widely used formula. A 0.95% edge variant rounds float x 10000 instead, so check which edge your bet used.
• Limbo uses its own maths: 16,777,216 divided by the floored float times 16,777,216 plus one, then the edge is applied. A generic Limbo checker built for another casino may not match it, so use Goated's own code for that game.

Third-party content is outside the scheme. The 31 studios behind the slots and live tables, from Pragmatic Play to Evolution, use their own certified random number generators, and nothing about those rounds can be verified with seeds. How to verify a Goated bet, step by step

The check takes a few minutes and needs no special software beyond the code Goated already publishes.

1. Before you play, note the hashed server seed and your client seed on the seed history page. Set your own client seed if you want extra assurance that the outcome was not chosen against you.
2. Play as normal. Each bet records its nonce, starting from zero for a new seed pair and rising by one per bet.
3. When you want to check, rotate the seed pair. Goated then reveals the old server seed in plain text.
4. Hash the revealed server seed with SHA-256 and compare it with the hash you noted in step 1. A match proves the seed was fixed before your bets.
5. Feed the server seed, client seed and nonce into Goated's verify page, its published code, or an independent HMAC-SHA256 tool, and compare the result with your bet history.

If step 4 fails, the scheme has been broken and you should stop playing and keep screenshots. If step 5 fails on a game like Limbo, first make sure you are using Goated's own formula for that game rather than one written for another site.

One limit applies to any seed system: it proves a result followed from committed inputs, not that the payout table is generous. Goated's Dice runs at a 1% or 0.95% edge, and the edge on each original is part of its code, so read the multipliers as closely as the seeds.

Is Goated licensed and safe?

Goated is operated by Mirai Kaze Ltd (registration 16180, Mutsamudu, Anjouan). We matched its licence, ALSI-202411063-FI2, on the Anjouan register: valid, issued 4 November 2024, expiring 3 November 2027, domain goated.com. Anjouan is a light-touch offshore regulator. It does not run an independent player dispute service, and Goated's terms put disputes under Belize law.

The terms are compact. They limit accounts to one per person, household, IP, device and wallet, allow dormant accounts to be closed after 12 months (with funds recoverable through support), and ban card counting and opposite-side betting. Goated also states on a promotion page that it passed $700 million in wagers and $25 million in deposits in its first year. We cannot verify those figures, so we treat them as marketing.

Goated deposits and withdrawals

Banking is crypto only. Goated takes BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP, TRX, LTC and BNB, with USDT on four networks (Ethereum, Solana, Tron, BNB Smart Chain) and USDC on three. Every account gets a fixed deposit address per network, and wallet logins work with Phantom, Solflare, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet and WalletConnect. Anyone without coins can buy through Onramper inside the wallet; Onramper, not Goated, sets that screen's fees, methods and checks.

The cashier rules from Goated's help centre:

• No withdrawal minimum, but the amount has to exceed the network fee, which is charged on top.
• Most withdrawals reach the chain in a minute or two, large ones within two hours, and some pass a security check that usually takes up to 12 hours and rarely 24 (Goated's figures).
• Each deposit must be wagered once before it can leave, and level 1 verification (name, date of birth, address) must be complete.
• Two-factor authentication is required on every withdrawal.

No maximum withdrawal is published. Treat the timings as claims until a test confirms them.

Goated bonus terms

New players get a 100% match on the first deposit up to $1,000, from $20, according to the bonus article we read on 5 November 2026. The rollover is 35 times deposit plus bonus. The unusual part is the contribution formula: each wager counts at the game's edge divided by 0.04. A 1% edge game therefore counts 25%, and a $5 dice bet adds $1.25. The fair reading is that this protects Goated from low-edge grinding, and it makes clearing the bonus on its own originals slow.

Other conditions are strict too:

• A $10 maximum bet while the bonus is active.
• No bonus buys, challenges, accumulator games or sportsbook bets.
• The whole balance is locked for withdrawals and tips until the bonus ends.
• VIP rewards are halved during rollover.

The ongoing value is in the VIP ladder instead: nine ranks from Copper to Diamond over 40 levels, with rakeback, daily, weekly and monthly bonuses, lossback and level-up rewards.

Goated games and providers

Beyond the originals, Goated claims more than 1,200 titles. Its provider list includes Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger, NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Habanero, BGaming and AvatarUX, with Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live for live tables. A sportsbook shares the same wallet.

Goated VPN policy

VPNs are not allowed. Clause 7.4 calls any attempt to conceal your true location with a VPN or proxy a breach, and clause 6.1 warns that Goated checks for IP masking. Players from countries where the service is not permitted should not try to get around that.

Goated customer support

Help comes through in-platform live chat, email at support@goated.com and a searchable help centre. Articles carry update dates, several from October and November 2026. Complaints also go through live chat, with no external dispute body named.

Goated responsible gambling tools

Players can switch on a 24-hour timeout in their settings. Anything longer, up to permanent exclusion, has to be requested from support. Accounts cannot be fully deleted. The help centre lists outside help from Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy but describes no deposit, loss or session limits.

Is Goated worth it for provably fair play?

For fairness, Goated is one of the more open crypto casinos we have read: a standard HMAC-SHA256 design, code published game by game, player-controlled seed rotation and a hash-chain Crash. The Anjouan licence is valid on the register. The weaker points are the edge-weighted bonus terms, thin self-exclusion options and a VPN ban. We will add fairness and payout scores once the owner's own tests are logged.
