500 Casino: our expert opinion
500 Casino runs twelve house games on published seed code with a shared daily server secret, and its Crash chain was salted with a Bitcoin block announced before mining. The Curaçao licence is active, but the scheme differs from the common Stake model.
What we like
- Code published for twelve house games
- Crash chain salted with a pre-announced Bitcoin block
- Active Curaçao licence with free ADR via Resolvo
- Crypto withdrawals described as instant
What we don't like
- Wheel and Roulette take no client seed
- One shared daily server secret for all games
- Welcome offer is a slow rakeback boost

500 Casino review overview
500 Casino has been running in-house games since its CSGO500 days, and for a fairness audit it is an interesting case: it publishes code for twelve games, but its design is not the HMAC model most crypto casinos copy. This 500 Casino review explains how the seeds work, which games you can check, and where the scheme is weaker than it looks. Licensing, banking and bonus terms follow.
The owner has not logged a bet-level audit or a payout test at 500 Casino yet. We describe the published scheme and the casino's own statements, and scores remain empty for now.
How 500 Casino's provably fair system works
Since 12 December 2023, 500 Casino's house games share one global server secret that rotates every 24 hours. While a secret is live, the provably fair pages show only its SHA-256 hash in a daily table, and the plain secret is revealed after the day ends. Because each secret is generated at the start of the day, every result for that day is fixed in advance, and the published hash lets you prove the secret was not changed afterwards.
Each game then salts the shared secret with its own name so outcomes differ between games:
- Dice computes HMAC-SHA256 with the server secret as key and the message dice:{clientSeed}:{gameSeed}. It takes the first 13 hex characters, divides by 2 to the power 52 and maps the result with floor(x times 10001) / 100. Your client seed is customisable here.
- Wheel hashes wheel:{secret}:{nonce} with plain SHA-256, where the nonce is the round number. There is no client seed, because one wheel spin is shared by everyone in the round.
- Crash uses a pre-generated chain of 10 million hashes, played in reverse. Its public seed is the hash of Bitcoin block #811500, which 500 Casino says it announced on X before the block was mined in October 2023, so it could not know the seed in advance. The first ten rounds of the current chain are published as unplayable test rounds.
Answering the usual audit questions:
- Where are seeds shown? In the daily table on each game's fairness page, as hashes until revealed.
- Can you change the client seed? In Dice and other single-player games that use one, yes. Shared-round games do not take one.
- Is the nonce visible? Round numbers appear in the history; Dice uses a game seed instead of a counter.
Which 500 Casino games can be verified?
Code is published for Wheel, Roulette, Crash, Duels, Plinko, Dice, Towers, Mines, Keno, HiLo, Cases and Baccarat, and each page links to an external verification tool. Slots, NetEnt titles, live tables and the sportsbook sit outside the scheme and depend on the providers' own certified RNG, which the terms say is used for all casino games.
There are two caveats worth stating plainly. First, a single daily secret behind every game means one value controls a full day of results across the site; that is fine if the commitment holds, but it concentrates trust. Second, in Wheel and Roulette the player adds no randomness, so those rounds prove the casino did not change results, not that you influenced them. The casino also notes that until December 2023 Wheel used a modulo method it calls slightly biased over time, which it has since replaced.
Because the float maths here does not follow the Stake-style four-bytes-per-float pattern, our verify tool cannot reproduce 500 Casino Dice directly. Its Crash chain integrity can still be checked by hashing each round to the next.
How to check a 500 Casino Dice roll
Verifying a roll means waiting for the day's secret to be revealed, so it is an after-the-fact check rather than an instant one.
- Before you play, set a client seed you chose yourself and note the hash of today's server secret from the Dice fairness table.
- Play your rolls and record the game seed shown for each bet in your history.
- After the 24-hour period ends, return to the fairness page and copy the revealed secret for that day.
- Hash the revealed secret with SHA-256 and confirm it matches the hash you noted. If it does not, the commitment failed.
- Run HMAC-SHA256 with the secret as the key and dice:{your client seed}:{game seed} as the message, take the first 13 hex characters, convert them to a number, divide by 2 to the power 52 and apply floor(x times 10001) / 100. The result should equal the roll on your bet.
500 Casino also links an external verifier on each page, and its Dice code points to a public CodePen, so you do not have to write anything yourself. For Crash, the check is simpler: take any two consecutive round hashes and confirm that hashing one gives the other, then walk the chain back to the published last hash.
The delay is the main practical difference from per-player seed systems. Here you cannot rotate a seed pair to see your server seed early; the secret is revealed on the casino's daily schedule for everyone at once.
Licence and safety
Perfect Storm B.V. (company no. 150536, Willemstad) holds Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1354/0882. The Gaming Control Board's validator shows it active since 16 December 2024, covering 500.casino, 500casino.com, 500casino.io, 500play.com, csgo500.com and csgo500.io. Nine Yards Limited in Cyprus handles payments.
The terms (updated 24 September 2026) are among the clearer ones in this market. Funds are segregated from operating money, dormant balances survive four years with 30 days' notice, and unresolved complaints can go to Resolvo, a CGA-certified ADR body, free of charge, with the outcome binding on the casino. Less friendly clauses let 500 Casino pay big wins in instalments, cap bonus conversion at ten times the deposit (up to $10,000), limit bet sizes to stay profitable, and suspend accounts that miss a seven-day KYC deadline.
Restricted territories for licensing reasons are the United States, the Netherlands, France and Curaçao, with longer lists for selected mirrors and for NetEnt games.
500 Casino deposits and withdrawals
Deposits can be crypto, cards (including some prepaid and virtual cards), Paysafecard, vouchers, gift cards or CS2 and Rust skins. Withdrawals are crypto or skins only; there is no fiat payout. Minimum deposits are listed at roughly $0.60 in crypto, $3 by card and $0.30 in skins.
Each coin you deposit lands in a separate balance and can only leave as that coin, while card and voucher deposits go to a MAIN balance that must be wagered first. Withdrawals return to the original deposit wallet, privacy coins are refused, and all transactions pass blockchain analytics and the FATF Travel Rule. You need level 1 and must have played each deposit once.
The help centre states crypto withdrawals are instant, with a small number flagged for review. Large or abnormal wins can be held for provider checks lasting hours to days. Network fees are deducted from the amount received.
Bonuses and terms
The welcome deal is unusual. A first deposit over $25, within seven days of sign-up, earns 300% of the deposit up to $15,000 as a rakeback boost that unlocks at $1 per $400 wagered over 90 days. The effective value is small relative to the headline. The casino version adds 50 free spins on Pragmatic Play titles with 40x wagering on winnings, a $100 maximum bet and a $1,000 cap; the sportsbook version gives a free bet up to $500 at odds of 1.6 to 6.0. Wagering progress shrinks on high-RTP games, down to 1:10 at 99.6%. Details are in the Welcome Package article, read on 5 November 2026.
Games and providers
Beyond the originals, the lobby includes slots, live casino, NetEnt games and a sportsbook. 500 Casino does not publish a total game count or provider list on its public pages.
500 Casino VPN policy
There is no VPN clause in the terms. The casino applies region blocks by IP address and other signals and leaves compliance with local law to the player. Using a VPN to reach a blocked region would still break the region rules.
Customer support
Live chat and email (support@500.casino) run 24/7/365, backed by a help centre. Formal complaints use a complaint form, with set response times and the Resolvo escalation route.
Responsible gambling tools
Self-exclusion can be set from profile settings, and the casino says it will not reverse one. Withdrawals stay possible during exclusion. We found no deposit, loss or session limit tools described on its public pages.
Is 500 Casino worth it for provably fair play?
500 Casino offers real verifiability for a long list of house games, and the Bitcoin-block salt on its Crash chain is a strong touch. The trade-offs are a non-standard design, a single daily secret across all games and no client seed in shared-round games. Add an active Curaçao licence with free ADR, and it is a credible pick for originals players. Scores will follow the owner's own tests.
