Gamba casino review: what we found

We review Gamba the way we rank every crypto casino, fairness first and payouts second. Gamba Originals run on a clearly published HMAC-SHA256 scheme with per-game seed pairs and full seed data on every bet. Coverage stops at the Originals and licensing details are thin; payouts were quick, with our crypto landing minutes after each request.

Gamba Gaming N.V. runs Gamba, a crypto-only casino with a sportsbook attached, in Anjouan. Its in-house games, called Gamba Originals, are provably fair, while the slots and live tables come from third-party studios. Only crypto is accepted, and the funding guide lists 21 coins.

This review starts with how Gamba's provably fair system works and how much of the site you can verify, then covers licensing, payments and rewards. All facts come from Gamba's own site and help centre. We hold an account on Gamba and have withdrawn from it: crypto withdrawals arrived within minutes.

Is Gamba provably fair? How the system works

Gamba explains the basics in its provably fair overview and sets out the maths on a separate technical page.

Scheme: For Originals, Gamba generates floats with HMAC-SHA256. The server seed is the HMAC key and the message is "client seed:nonce:round". The round counter lets one bet draw more than 32 bytes when a game needs many numbers, such as Mines or Plinko.

Server seed: Gamba commits to a hashed server seed before you play. The plain seed stays hidden while the pair is active and is revealed only when you rotate to a new pair.

Client seed: You supply a client seed that feeds into every result. Seed pairs are kept separate per Original, so one game's rounds never influence another's.

Changing seeds: To rotate, open any Original, click Fairness, go to the Seeds tab and choose Rotate Seed Pair. This starts a new session and reveals the old server seed. The help centre describes rotating the pair rather than editing the client seed alone, so we could not confirm whether you can type a custom client seed.

Where seeds are shown: The hashed server seed, revealed server seed, client seed and nonce appear in the Provable Fairness dropdown of each bet's details. You can reach this from the live results feed, the My Bets tab, the Transactions page or the in-game History panel, according to the bet checking guide.

Nonce: The nonce is visible in bet details and is one of three fields, next to the two seeds, on the Gamba checker.

Crash: Crash works differently. Gamba uses a SHA-256 hash chain and combines each round with a Bitcoin block hash, using the message "hash seed:nonce:0". This is a common public-seed approach for multiplayer crash games.

Which Gamba games can be verified

Gamba says all Gamba Originals are built with provably fair at their core. Its help centre names Dice, Keno, Mines, Plinko and Limbo, and the implementation page covers Crash. We could not load the full Originals list, so there may be others.

To check a bet yourself, rotate your seed pair so the old server seed is revealed, then hash that seed and confirm it matches the hash shown before you played. Next, open a past bet's details and click "Verify This Bet", which pre-fills the server seed, client seed and nonce on the Verify tab. Because the scheme is plain HMAC-SHA256, you can also reproduce the result outside Gamba with a few lines of code using the published implementation.

Third-party slots and live games are not covered. Gamba does use seeds on third-party slots, tied to your display currency, but it does not describe them as provably fair and gives no way to verify them.

Who licenses Gamba, and is it safe?

The footer identifies Gamba Gaming N.V. (company 15948, Mutsamudu, Anjouan), and a help article states the casino holds a licence from the Anjouan government. No licence number is published on the pages we checked and we could not confirm an entry on the Anjouan register. Restricted countries include the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. Neither the Alberta iGaming Corporation nor iGaming Ontario has registered it, so it holds no licence in those provinces.

How fast does Gamba pay out?

You can deposit from roughly $0.20 USD per coin. There is no ceiling per cashout or per day; the floor sits at 1.5x the network fee, and the network fee is deducted from the amount. No total payout time is promised, though the pending cashout article puts manual checks at less than 3 minutes on average. You can play without ID checks, and optional verification goes as far as proof of funds.

Is the Gamba bonus fair? Wagering and limits

There are no deposit bonuses at Gamba. Rewards come from the VIP programme instead: permanent rakeback reaching 10%, with seven ranks each bringing level-up rewards and periodic daily, weekly and monthly payouts. No wagering requirement on rakeback is mentioned.

What games and providers does Gamba offer?

Beyond the Originals you get slots, a live casino, blackjack, roulette and baccarat, plus sports betting. No total title count is given, and the studio list failed to load when we tried. Each game has a maximum bet so that every win can be paid.

Can you play at Gamba with a VPN?

You will not find the word VPN in the Gamba rules, yet the effect is the same. Under 4.4.3(c) and 5.1.2(g), hiding your IP is a banned technique, grouped with bots and payment fraud, and the operator may use geolocation, device fingerprinting and on-chain analysis to catch it. A help article confirms location checks keep blocked regions out. Put simply, an IP mask counts as a rule violation. If Gamba accepts your country, there is nothing to gain from one.

What player protection tools does Gamba have?

You can exclude yourself for anything from a day up to three months, or for good, in which case six months is the minimum. The safer play article also offers a tool to plan your budget and points to GamCare, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous. We did not find deposit or loss limits.
