Thrill review overview

The verdict in brief from our Thrill crypto casino review: Thrill publishes its full HMAC-SHA512 provably fair method and per-game result mappings for all 13 Originals.

This Thrill review covers a crypto casino plus sportsbook that Gravity Unleashed B.V. has run on a Curaçao licence since September 2025 (see the CGA certificate). Its 13 Originals are all provably fair, and Thrill publishes the exact random-number method in its help centre, something few operators bother with (see Thrill Originals). This review covers how that system works and what Thrill's terms say about payouts. We have also withdrawn from our own account, and the coins landed a few minutes after the request.

Is Thrill provably fair? How the system works

The model is commit and reveal, set out in the commitment scheme article:

• Server seed: a 64-character random string generated by Thrill. Only its SHA-512 hash is shown while it is in use.
• Client seed: random by default and editable by the player.
• Nonce: counts bets made under the same seed pair and restarts at 1 after rotation.
• Cursor: a sub-counter that starts at 0 and rises when one round needs more random numbers.

For instant games the formula is published as RandomBytes = HMACSHA512(Active_Server_Seed, Active_Client_Seed:Nonce:Cursor), as the implementation page shows. Floats use 7 bytes, keep the lowest 52 bits and divide by 2^52. Integers use 32-bit values with rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias.

Scheduled multiplayer games such as Crash and Slide work differently. Thrill generates a new server seed for each event, shares its hash when the event starts and reveals it at the close. The client seed is taken from the bet with the highest dollar stake, and the formula is HMACSHA512(Active_Server_Seed, Active_Client_Seed) with no nonce. Witching Heights takes its client seed from the public drand randomness beacon, with the beacon round committed in advance (game event).

Because the formula, the key, the message format and the conversion steps are all published, a player with the revealed server seed, their client seed and the nonce can rebuild a result with any standard HMAC-SHA512 library, without relying on Thrill's own verifier. The cursor matters for games that draw several numbers per round, such as Keno, Mines or card games: each 64-byte output covers several draws, and the cursor moves on when more are needed.

The scheduled-game design also addresses a known weakness of shared rounds. When one server seed serves many players, no single player's client seed can be used for everyone, so Thrill takes the client seed from the largest stake. That player has the most at risk and the least reason to collude with the house. The drand beacon used in Witching Heights goes further, since the randomness comes from a public network outside Thrill's control.

Can you change the client seed? Yes, for instant games. When you rotate, the previous server seed is disclosed and taken out of use. Is the nonce visible? Thrill's articles describe the nonce but do not say where it is shown in the interface, and they do not say where seeds appear for instant games. According to the Originals article, an on-site verifier was due from September.

Which Thrill games can be verified?

All 13 Originals carry the provably fair label: Roulette, Moles, HiLo, Blackjack, Slide, Crash, Mines, Limbo, Dice, Coinflip, Keno, Plinko and Baccarat. The game event article gives the mapping for each one, for example Dice as an integer from 0 to 10,000 divided by 100, Roulette as one draw from 0 to 36, and card games as indexes from 0 to 51. Third-party slots and live dealer games are not verifiable.

Is Thrill legit and licensed?

Licence OGL/2024/1052/0508 appears on the CGA certificate, issued to Gravity Unleashed B.V. (company 165275) for thrill.com and in force from 2 September 2025. A second licence from Anjouan, used for some locations, is mentioned in About Thrill, but the regulator gave us nothing to confirm its number.

Restricted countries include the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Curaçao, plus any place that requires a local licence (per the region restrictions article). Neither Ontario's nor Alberta's provincial regulator has licensed Thrill.

Thrill deposits and withdrawal times

Banking is purely crypto: 15 assets over 11 networks, per the supported cryptocurrencies list. Deposits have no floor and withdrawals no ceiling. Each coin has a set minimum and fee, for example 0.00001571 BTC on Bitcoin or 1 USDT on Ethereum, as the limits and fees page shows. Expected network times run from below 2 minutes on Solana and XRP to 10 to 30+ minutes on Bitcoin, according to the withdrawal delays article. An anti-coin-mixing rule stops you withdrawing a deposit you never played, as explained in how to withdraw.

KYC is not required to register; documents are only requested when an account gets flagged, per the registration article. Our own coins came back within minutes.

Thrill bonus and wagering terms

Thrill shows no welcome offer anywhere we looked. Loyalty runs over 16 levels: instant rakeback plus weekly and monthly bonuses from day one, level-up rewards between $15 and $12,800 (at Diamond I), and reloads once you reach Platinum, as the level-up bonuses page explains. The rakeback article gives no percentages.

Thrill games and providers

Beyond the 13 Originals, Thrill has slots, live casino and a sportsbook. Its help centre does not list a game count or providers.

Does Thrill allow VPNs?

Thrill draws a line between privacy and evasion. VPNs are not actively blocked, the help centre explains, since some players want privacy or a steadier connection. The limit is clause 11.4 of the terms: using a proxy server, VPN or any other method to get around the prohibited-jurisdiction list breaches the agreement. In short, acceptable from a permitted country, a breach from a barred one. From an accepted country, a privacy VPN is within Thrill's rules.

Thrill's help centre does not document deposit limits, cool-off or self-exclusion tools. Ask support about them before depositing.

Is Thrill worth it for provably fair players?

For provable fairness Thrill sets a high bar: it publishes the full HMAC-SHA512 construction, the byte-to-number method and per-game mappings, and its multiplayer games use a public randomness beacon or top-bettor seed. The gaps are where seeds and nonce are shown in the interface and the lack of documented responsible gambling tools. Payment terms look clean on paper. In practice too: our coins came back within minutes.
