Cashy casino review: what we found

We review Cashy the way we rank every crypto casino, fairness first and payouts second. Cashy lets you verify its Originals and many BGaming games with a SHA-256 commit and reveal system where your client seed shifts the result. It is a solid pick among slots-heavy casinos, but most of its 8,000 games are not verifiable and the docs skip game formulas.

Cashy is a casino at cashy.com operated by Gareton B.V. of Curaçao, the company behind BitStarz. On the regulator's licence certificate, cashy.com sits next to the BitStarz domains under OGL/2024/165/0185. Marketing claims include over 8,000 titles, deposits from $5 and cashouts averaging 4 minutes. Our team keeps a funded account here and has timed real cashouts.

For fairness, Cashy is more open than a typical slots casino. It runs a set of in-house Originals and carries a large BGaming catalogue, and a dedicated fairness page sets out how each game type can be checked. The scheme differs from the usual server seed and nonce model, which we explain below.

Is Cashy provably fair? How the system works

Cashy uses a commit and reveal model with SHA-256. Before a round starts, the game shows you a hash. That hash is built from the round's result combined with a hidden "Secret" (on the Originals overview this is called the server seed). After the round, Cashy reveals the result and the secret. You hash them yourself, with Cashy's built-in widget or any SHA-256 tool, and compare the output with the hash you saw before you bet. A match proves the result was fixed before you played and was not changed afterwards.

Your own input then changes the outcome, so the house cannot pick it alone. How the client seed is handled differs by game, according to the Cashy fairness guide:

• Roulette: your seed sets how far the wheel advances from the committed result.
• Cards: your seed sets where the deck is cut.
• Slots: your seed is a multi-digit number, and each digit shifts one reel.
• Pocket Dice: the browser generates the client seed, and the game uses a Mersenne Twister and a Fisher-Yates shuffle.

On the Originals, the page says the client seed can be changed at any time. It does not mention a nonce. That fits the model: each round gets its own committed hash rather than a running counter on one seed pair. It also means verification is round by round, using the data shown for that round, not a single seed rotation that reveals a batch of past bets.

The weak point is documentation depth. The page tells you what to hash but does not publish exact formulas for turning hashes into Crash multipliers or Plinko paths on the Originals.

Which Cashy games can be verified

From the verification guide:

• Cashy Originals: Plinko, Crash, Dice, Mines, Tower and the card-based formats
• BGaming titles: most are provably fair, including roulette, Pocket Dice, card games and a number of slots

Live dealer games and other third-party slots are not provably fair and rely on the provider's certified RNG. With 8,000+ games in the lobby, the verifiable share is a minority, but the Originals and BGaming tables cover the classic provably fair formats.

Who licenses Cashy, and is it safe?

Gareton B.V. (company number 160656, Willemstad) has held a CGA licence since 8 July 2024, as shown on the regulator's record. The licence is real and checkable, but it is offshore. Clause 17.1 sends disputes to Curaçao arbitration.

Rules to read before depositing, from the Cashy rulebook:

• 8.7.3: substantial wins may be paid in monthly instalments, with no threshold stated.
• 8.7.10: Cashy may charge a withdrawal fee at its discretion.
• 13.1 and 13.2: accounts become dormant after six months, and any balance left there is charged 5 EUR or more each month.
• 6.2.2: one account per household, IP and PC.

The restricted list in clause 3.6 includes the US, UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine and Curaçao, among others.

How fast does Cashy pay out?

The homepage advertises crypto and local currencies, a $5 minimum and zero deposit fees. The terms name Bitcoin, card payouts by Visa and Mastercard, EUR bank wires taking 3 to 10 banking days, plus e-wallets including MiFinity, MuchBetter, Interac, Instadebit and iDebit. The cashier decides what you actually see for your country.

Under clause 8.7.1 the casino "shall try to pay out withdrawals within 1 hour," while its marketing cites 4 minutes on average. Every payout we requested, fiat or crypto, reached us inside the hour. Deposits must be wagered once before withdrawal, payouts return to the deposit method, and full KYC (photo ID, proof of payment, proof of address) is required before any payment is released (clause 7.4).

Is the Cashy bonus fair? Wagering and limits

The welcome offer is 25% cashback on net losses over your first 24 hours, up to $250, on a first deposit of at least $100. It is paid as cash with no wagering. That is about as fair as a welcome offer gets: no sticky balance, no max bet, no game weighting.

Through the loyalty programme you earn cash on each level-up, rakeback each day worth as much as 10% of house edge, and, once at level 10, weekly cashback reaching 20%, all with no wagering and a 7 day claim window. The promotion rules describe a first deposit match too, at 40x the bonus with a 14 day limit and 10 EUR/USD max bet, even though the offers page does not show it.

What games and providers does Cashy offer?

Over 8,000 titles are advertised, split between slots, live dealers and the house Originals. A full provider list is not published on the pages we could read. BGaming is named on the fairness page, and the lobby features Pragmatic Play slots and live roulette and baccarat tables. Some titles are geo-blocked by provider.

Can you play at Cashy with a VPN?

Under clause 4.3 of the rules, it is forbidden to get around a studio's geo-block with a VPN, and doing so can cost you your winnings. With one account per IP as well, VPN use is a real risk to your balance here.

Is Cashy worth it? Our final verdict

Cashy is a provably fair friendly casino by slots casino standards: its Originals and BGaming tables can be checked with SHA-256, the client seed genuinely shifts results, and the method is explained in plain words. It is not as deep as the seed pair and nonce systems at crypto-native sites, and most of the 8,000 games are not verifiable. Every one of our payouts came through inside the hour. The no wagering cashback and VIP rewards are fair, but note the instalment clause for big wins, the VPN ban and mandatory KYC before payout.
