Crash game
A round-based game with a multiplier that climbs from 1x until it crashes; you win only if you cash out first.
Every crash round opens at 1.00x and the multiplier rises from there. The point at which it will crash is set before the round begins. Cash out in time, by hand or with an auto cash-out, and you collect your stake times the current multiplier; stay in past the crash and the stake is gone.
Where the crash point comes from
Since every player shares the same round, provably fair crash games rarely use individual seeds. Instead the casino precomputes a chain of hashes and publishes the hash of the chain's last element before play opens. Each round can then be checked against that commitment, frequently mixed with a public input such as a future block hash. The details vary, so verify using the casino's own documentation.
Pace and edge
Crash rounds are quick and played in a crowd, which makes it easy to rack up volume. The house edge typically comes from a small probability of an instant crash at 1.00x combined with the payout formula.
Example
You stake $10 with auto cash-out set at 2.00x. A round that reaches 2.00x pays you $20. A round that crashes at 1.73x costs you the $10.
